An interesting question that scientists used to ponder but now generally ignore was, “Why are the oceans salty?“
The answer may well be that the waters of Noah’s flood cleansed the land by washing poisonous salts into the sea. The Earth was baptized and regenerated by the flood. God promised that he wouldn’t curse the Earth like that again, and that seed time and harvest would continue.
โWhile the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.โ
(Genesis 8:22) NKJV
