“Extinction of some species.” Dead bodies buried in sediment from Noah’s flood represent entire flocks, herds and populations of animals. If they were the only living members of their species, that’s why they’re extinct.
There was an incredible amount of diversity on the Earth after the 6 days of creation. However God created kinds, not species. Species is an artificial concept which is for the purpose of organizing information about organisms. This is a branch of science known as systematics or taxonomy. Kind is a pool of genetic diversity with the potential to give rise to families, genera and species. At the fall of man genetic decay, devolution, began. Devolution is the reality of evolution.
Devolution is change in allele frequency in a population, combined with accumulated mutations and DNA replication errors, that causes genomic decay, sickness, and loss of variability over time. It includes both macro and micro evolution. It began at the fall of man in Genesis 3:16.

This allowed the animals and plants to diversify rapidly into habitat and niche specific variants which were a subset of the genetic variability of the original kind. There was no new variability after the fall of man, just the loss of variability as populations split up and became adapted to narrower and narrower niches. These are what we could refer to as species.

New research shows animal evolution often involves losing genes and becoming less complex.
In the majority of cases a population of a species was THE population of that species, so when it was buried in Noah’s flood it was extinct. The narrative of evolution is that each period or epoch was the diversification and origin of incredible diversity. That’s simply not what the evidence shows. The fossil record shows the destruction of variability. We’ve found that the evolution narrative is coded with doublethink which make the narrative appear to be the opposite of reality.
