In all his wisdom and insight God did what he had purposed, and made known to us the secret plan he had already decided to complete by means of Christ. This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head.
All things are done according to God’s plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with Christ because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very beginning. Let us, then, who were the first to hope in Christ, praise God’s glory!

One of the things which allows Matty’s Paradigm to be a consistent with the broad narrative of scripture is understanding that creation has a specific purpose. This purpose harmonizes physics with spirituality.
We’re using the word purpose as follows:
Purpose means an intended or desired result; end; aim; goal (Dictionary.com); something set up as an object or end to be attained : intention (Merriam-Webster).
– Purpose, definition
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
The purpose of creation is perfectly aligned with the broad narrative of scripture. Creation is a process of purification which is designed to bring about the permanent physical separation of light from darkness, good from evil.
According to this purpose, light and good are synonyms; darkness and evil are synonyms. Light and good must be physically separated from darkness and evil. This has to happen on a personal level as we live our lives, but it’s going to be brought about as a physical reality when all prophecy is fulfilled.
The purpose of creation is to bring about the permanent physical separation of light from darkness, day from night, good from evil.

Death and the world of the dead
Then death and the world of the dead were thrown into the lake of fire. (This lake of fire is the second death.) Those who did not have their name written in the book of the living were thrown into the lake of fire.
(Revelation 20:14-15) Good News Translation
Gravity was created on the second day as the primary ordering of creation. It’s the physical means by which light and darkness will be permanently separated. Part of this process was the creation of a gravitational singularity which is drawing all of the impurity and corruption into a sphere of waste that can be disposed of. It’s called hell and it’s at the center of the Earth.
Presently God dwells in heaven on the edge of space. Once the corruption and impurity has been disposed of in outer darkness God can take up his rightful place: dwelling at the center of creation with his people. The gravitational singularity will remain in place throughout this process.
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.

You will do well to pay attention
So we are even more confident of the message proclaimed by the prophets. You will do well to pay attention to it, because it is like a lamp shining in a dark place until the Day dawns and the light of the morning star shines in your hearts. Above all else, however, remember that none of us can explain by ourselves a prophecy in the Scriptures. For no prophetic message ever came just from the human will, but people were under the control of the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God.
(2 Peter 1:19-21) Good News Translation
On one hand for us to suggest that God created gravity on the second day may seem unwarranted. We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) get it. People, especially Bible people, don’t like new ideas. They’ve been warned about them.
On the other hand, the creation of gravity isn’t an off the wall idea, it’s consistent with the broad narrative of scripture from beginning to end. It gives us a way to resolve apparent contradictions in a way which is consistent with the original purpose God had for creating the universe, and which enhances our understanding of physical laws.
Salvation
- Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
- confess your sin.
A teacher of the Law
So he replied, “This means, then, that every teacher of the Law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of heaven is like a homeowner who takes new and old things out of his storage room.”
(Matthew 13:52) Good News Translation
We’re afraid that all those Bible people who want to freak out and get upset by this are going to have to deal with another Biblical precedent: there’s nothing new under the sun, but we’re bringing out old things and making them new and relevant. We’ve finally deduced what we are and what we’ve been called to do: it would seem that we’re a teacher of the Law who became a disciple in the kingdom of heaven. We’re bringing new and old things out of the storage room. Like showing how the gospel: salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, resolves with Newton’s second law of motion. Deal with it.
