How do we know that the next life is constructed from a series of elements which we have no earthly counterparts for? It's not possible to make gold pure enough that it becomes transparent like glass.

The streets of heaven are paved with gold so pure that it's transparent. It would seem that this isn't the same kind of gold that we have on Earth, but another element that's not part of the known periodic table.

Revelation 21 and 22 tell us about a type of Gold which is transparent like glass. We can use deductive reasoning to discern that it has a nuclei which consists of 10 ΩOxygen atoms.
My Holy Mountain
The mountain referred to by Old Testament prophets as "my holy mountain" is a reworking of the current land configuration as opposed to something completely new of extra-terrestrial origin.
