The information that we have suggests that Isaiah was an old man at the time of his death. He saw Jerusalem dwindle in prosperity and fall from powerful to vulnerable.

A meteorite barreling down from the skies on collision course with the Earth would make us get down on our knees to pray. Evidently it caused Uzziah to run, panic-stricken, into the temple and try to avert the judgment of God.
From Peleg to Abraham
The tectonic plates formed at least 201 years before the birth of Abraham. Noah's flood was at least 302 years before Abraham. So much for the geological timescale.
The Sons of Noah
The time between Noah's flood and Peleg's tectonics was when the dispersal from Babel took place. From Babel small family groups spread out, figuratively speaking, to the ends of the Earth.
