Christ’s suffering and death at Calvary symbolizes the beginning of creation and the establishment of Physics. This, was an epiphany. Now we have the faith to run the race, into whatever uncertain future there may be, but we don't look back.

The crucifixion is the symbolism we need to be able to understand what God has done for us, but the sacrifice was made when God went against his own nature in order to make creating the universe possible.
