All Things Were Made Through Him

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

(John 1:1-5) NKJV

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) use scripture with the scientific method to test the hypothesis that “the deep,” the Word of God, and Jesus Christ are synonyms of the same Divine aspect of the Trinity: God the Son.

The deep” is a physical manifestation of God. It’s referred to as “the Word of God,” through whom the creation was made, and, ultimately, it brought forth God the Son in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.

We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.

Matty’s Razor

The Bible testifies that the Bible explains itself. Scriptural doctrines develop from their first mention to their last mention in such a way that examining the related passages gives us the understanding that we need. As such, the Bible can be handled just like scientific data. Predictive hypotheses may be tested by comparing scripture passages against each other. This is an ironic way of demonstrating how easy it is to manipulate the scientific method.

Predictive Testable Hypothesis 18

  • IF the deep, the Word of God, and Jesus Christ are identities of God the Son,
    • AND they all refer to the same Divine aspect of the Trinity,
  • THEN the scriptural context of all 3 will be consistent.

Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.

– Faith, definition

Method

We’re going to use John 1;1-5 as the template for a systematic study of the context of each of our potential identities of Christ to see if they’re consistent with each other and congruent with the scriptural context.
