The Waters Became Blood
I know a lot of people find it hard to reconcile the idea of a righteous God with vials of plagues being poured out upon the earth. It's in a similar vein to the idea that a loving God wouldn't send people to hell.

The mountain referred to by Old Testament prophets as "my holy mountain" is a reworking of the current land configuration as opposed to something completely new of extra-terrestrial origin.

Zechariah chapter 14 is like a backbone. It lays out a transition from the tribulation to the Millennial Kingdom and we can add other passages of scripture which spread out from it like ribs to give us more detail.
Which New Heaven and New Earth?
Isaiah and others speak about a new heavens and a new earth, but he isn't referring to the new heaven and new earth which are described in Revelation chapters 21 and 22.
