It's not a good idea to pull Bible passages out of context because we've decided what we want them to mean and then proclaim that we have some new doctrine. That's inductive reasoning, or eisegesis.

Since the time of Galileo the words star and sun have been used as synonyms. Synonymy is one of the ruling atheist deities. It's how popular science (SciPop) gets you to believe that the Earth is insignificant.

The human race has rejected empirical observations in favor of theoretical assumptions: IF you were on the Sun you'd be observing heliocentricity, SINCE you're not, you're on the Earth, you're observing Geocentrosphericity.
DPMS – Axiom I
The Newton/Einstein concept of gravity is a way to summarize a broad class of observations, but its an inductive rationalization of circumstantial evidence, it doesn't give us the cause of gravity.
