Jurassic graveyard reveals oldest evidence that dinosaurs traveled in herds

A Jurassic graveyard in Patagonia, Argentina, holds more than 100 fossilized eggs and the bones of 80 Mussaurus patagonicus dinosaurs ranging in age from hatchling to adult. The trove of dinosaur remains suggests that these paleo-beasts lived in herds as early as 192 million years ago, a new study finds.

The first duckbill dinosaur (Hadrosauridae: Lambeosaurinae) from Africa and the role of oceanic dispersal in dinosaur biogeography

Given the existence of large, persistent seaways isolating Africa and Europe from other continents, and the absence of the extensive, bidirectional interchange characterizing land bridges, these patterns suggest dispersals across marine barriers, similar to those seen in Cenozoic mammals, reptiles, and amphibians.

New fossil discovery suggests dinosaurs traveled across oceans

Fossils of a duckbill dinosaur have been discovered in Africa, leading experts to believe the species once traveled hundreds of kilometers across oceans to reach the continent.

WHALE FOSSILS HIGH IN ANDES SHOW HOW MOUNTAINS ROSE FROM SEA

Scientists have found fossils of whales and other marine animals in mountain sediments in the Andes, indicating that the South American mountain chain rose very rapidly from the sea.

Paleaeoecology and Palaeoenvironments of Late Cenozoic Mammals

Our copy of "Paleaeoecology and Palaeoenvironments of Late Cenozoic Mammals" came to us back in 1999 when we were living in the woods beside Jordan Lake in Chatham County, NC.

The Making of an Allosaurus Graveyard

Scientific blindness is never so apparent as when dealing with remnants of Noah's flood. This articles shows how the words flood, wet, catastrophe, intense, dry and drought are unavoidable.

Life before oxygen: Fossils of 2.5 billion-year-old bacteria reveal organisms thrived despite early Earth’s harsh conditions

Geologists found large spherical fossils thought to be from microbial life. Microbes lived in the ocean depths before Earth's oxygen-rich atmosphere. Researchers claim they are the oldest bacteria of their kind to be found.

Have Scientists Found the World’s Oldest Fossils

In a new study, a team of scientists announced it has discovered the world’s oldest fossils, dating back some 3.77 billion years (and possibly as far back as 4.28 billion years).
