The stratigraphic column, Cambrian through Quaternary, was deposited in Noah's flood, a world-wide event. Arbitrary time hack (ATH) is the technical term for the Eras, Periods and Epochs of the geological timescale.
The Theory of Ice Ages
When the waters of the great deep burst forth they were met at the surface of Earth by the waters from above the firmament. This caused gigantic waves to propagate from the equator to the poles.
Cenozoic/Upper Noachian (Subsidence)
The Earth was flooded for about a year, including the 40 days of rain. Sediments were deposited which were later eroded, metamorphosed and lithified as the waters subsided.
Mesozoic/Middle Noachian (Inundation)
Meso- means middle. Clearly something is different about Mesozoic sediment compared to Paleozoic and Cenozoic. Paleozoic was the deluge. Mesozoic was the period of time when the water remained high on the Earth.
Paleozoic/Lower Noachian (Deluge)
The fountains of the great deep burst open because the expansion of hell caused the waters of the great deep to heat up to boiling point where they were in contact with the core.
Eras, Periods and Epochs
The Geological Timescale is split into fours Eras. These are broadly obvious from significant transitions between sequences of sedimentary formations. The Precambrian is obviously very different to everything above it.
The Timeline for Noah’s Flood
The timeline for Noah's flood comes directly from scripture and this is the framework that we use to interpret evidence from the stratigraphic column.
August 28th
Noah's flood was not only a world-wide catastrophe, it was also a process which involved several stages. It gives us a way to account for the stratigraphic column, Cambrian through Quaternary.
