And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
(Joel 2:28) ESV
Walking by faith is as simple as taking a step, putting one foot down in front of the other. Then you can take another step, and then another. If you didn’t take the first step, you wouldn’t have a walk of faith.
It’s not really necessary to know the details about how the Holy Trinity can be resolved with particle physics. That’s what faith is for. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ, not physics. That said our faith is that pulling on, what looks like, a loose strand of logic is going to reveal a connection to something else. We find time and time again that pulling on these threads produces results which deepen our understanding of the relationship between the Word of God and the creation around us.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.

Now it has to be said that there are times when we get stuck. One problem with a walk of faith like Matty’s Paradigm is that our walk has taken us to places where no one else seems to have gone, and that means that there’s no support or help when we find ourselves at a standstill. This is when the Lord may intervene. There are times when divine guidance is forthcoming.
For a while we were in a real quandary about how nucleosynthesis, building the periodic table of elements by fusing Hydrogen and producing nuclei containing equal parts protons and neutrons, connected with the elemental spirits Alpha and Omega. We wrestled with it.
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.

And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.
(Genesis 32:24, 28) ESV
Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
Then one night we had a dream of particles. Hydrogen nuclei, protons, giving up their light to become neutrons. The sinless became sin for us. Hydrogen and Oxygen danced together and we understood it. We don’t remember the dream, we just know that we dreamed it, and now we can continue.
Salvation
- Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
- confess your sin.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Now the question in our mind is this: if the old men dream dreams, and the young men see visions, where does that put us? Is 51 old? Was the dream given to make it possible to write the vision?
The reason for creation is the manifestation of sentient life with free will.

And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
(Habakkuk 2:2-3) ESV
You’re going to need a tablet. IPad or Android, we don’t think that it matters. You’re going to need to be able to run. You should probably get a backpack so that your hands will be free to hold the tablet, and have it ready with some supplies in it. Granola bars and other high energy dried food would be a good idea. Things are going to get rough.
